Frequently Asked Questions

Truckee Follies is a fun event of skits, jokes, news stories (funny!), and music over the course of about 2 1/2 hours with an intermission. Many attendees start with dinner and drinks at one of our sponsors prior to and after the show. 

Drinks including beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks are available prior to and during the show. Doors open 1 hour before showtime. Food is available nearby at many local bars and restaurants. We of course recommend visiting our sponsors for a bite before the show..

All actors, writers, produces, participants, and even the director are volunteers. The proceeds from the show go to the Downtown Truckee Merchants Association and help to offset the costs for things such as the Bud Fish Christmas tree, snow removal, lighting, and special events that keep Truckee thriving throughout the year. 

Tickets are $75/$85 for Wednesday and Thursday's shows and $85/$95 for Friday and Saturday. Please see seating chart below for more details.
